It is an exclusive 5 star Relais that came about from the careful restoration of the ancient monastery of Saint Catherine, which was originally constructed in 1275 for a community of Benedictine nuns. Its 18 suites are situated a short distance from the center of Saint Francis\u2019 city in a quiet natural setting. The ancient place has preserved the details of the mediaeval monastery, designed along the lines of Benedictine rules calling for a \u201chuman city\u201d for individuals. Each ample room is unique, with niches, frescoes, cross-vaulted ceilings and yet with all the modern comforts of technology which pleasantly surround the body and the mind with simple elegant formality in complete harmony with the spiritual nature of the ancient stones.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Private course of Italian language (14 hours), after which is issued a certificate of attendance and evaluation. The Academy teachers have a university background and years of experience.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Books and workbooks will be distributed at the beginning of the course. The Accademia is also open outside the class schedule: a library, video library, multimedia educational materials for individual use and the wi-fi are available.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The program costs 1320 Euro each for accommodation in triple room, 735 euro each for double room and 550 euro for a single room<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Umbria is famous not only for Assisi but for many other medieval towns: Spello, Gubbio, Spoleto, Perugia, Montefalco, Trevi, Bevagna Castiglione del Lago, Todi. In Accademia, you can book guides and transport (minibus or taxi), or weekends in art cities (tours + transportation + accommodation in Rome, Venice, Florence, Pisa, Padua).<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
